As many of you will probably know in Saints Row, the city in which we were able to cause much death and destruction was called Stilwater. Saints Row 2 makes a return to the city of Stilwater many years later, this time however with the financial backing of the Ultor group the city has had many radical changes. This page will detail all of the new features within the city of Stilwater. Firstly however, watch the video below to see just how the Ultor group have changed Saint Row 2's city, Stilwater.
Saints Row is known for its customization features, with limitless amounts of customizing to be done in Saints row 2, players will need to have many different outlets from which to buy new clothing and accessories for their characters. Below I will list the changes that will be featured within Saints row 2.
Clothing Stores:
Lets Pretend: Do you like dressing up as a Pirate, a clown or even a hippie? Well now you can with Stilwaters very own fancy dress shop, you will find it all at this store! Many people around the city of Stilwater are a bit strange, to say the least, if you wish to stand out from the crowd then this is the place to be!
Leather and Lace: Feeling a bit kinky? Why not take advantage of the items Leather and Lace have to offer and dress up in a bit of bondage, or perhaps some nice sexy underwear?! Female characters will be able to find everything they need here, although you can expect to find a few male characters wondering around in some underwear! What ever floats your boat, I say!
Nobody Loves Me: Would you like to dress up as a biker and cruise around the city of Stilwater on a motorbike? Well now you can, if you are into motorbikes you have to look the part! Nobody loves me provides you with a chance to dress like a goth, create your ultimate freak with the clothing this store sells!
Saints Row 2 provides you with these 3 new clothing stores, Sloppy Seconds, On the Rag, Branded, and Impressions will however all be back from Saints Row. It is essential to look your best if you want respect in the city of Stilwater.
Jewelry Stores:
Bling Bling: Cheap and Shiny; two words that can be used to describe this store. Even when money is a bit tight at the beginning of the game, it is still essential to look good. Bling Bling will give players nice looking jewelry at discounted prices. Jobs a good'en!
Gift Shops: Stilwater has several new districts, and many of them are tourist friendly! Look for special gift shops in the museum district, underground caverns and Stilwater University.
On Thin Ice also makes a return in Saints Row 2. Expect to find the more expensive peices of jewelry at On Thin Ice.
Food Stores:
Apollo’s: Stilwater has a ton of cops and they all need a place to eat. At Apollo’s you can find donuts and coffee, which are essential items for those who fight (or perpetrate) crime.
Phuc Mi Phuc Yue: An influx of Asian people to the city of Stilwater has brought with it a chain of Chinese resturants. New Saints Row 2 gang, The Ronin can be seen around the various locations that these resturants are placed.
Company of Gyros: At Company of Gyros, expect the staff to run their operation like a well oiled machine. They always have enough resources and manpower to make sure the competition is outmatched. Nothing says taste like spiced lamb, World War II style!
Saints Row 2 also see the return of Freckle Bitch’s, you can expect the hear some rather amusing adverts on the radio.
Shopping:
The Ultor Mall: Ultor has spent a lot of money to improve Stilwater. One of their biggest projects is the Rounds Square Mall located under the retail district on the north island. A massive consumer mecca, Ultor has spared no expense for the comfort of its patrons. Within the mall you can find several new store types, a two level food court and a conference center.
There is no doubt the money that the Ultor group has invested has brought a new lease of live to Saints Row 2's city of Stilwater, expect to see many new additions over the next few months.
