| Totalvideogames.com Interview with SR2 Associate Producer, Dan Sutton:
A new interview has been released today from gaming website totalvideogames.com. They managed to grab an interview with Saints row 2 Associate Producer, Dan Sutton. Although not too much new information is released in the interview, a quick mention about gaining new fighting moves proves to be quite an interesting read.
TVG.com asked this question "TVG: Additional fighting styles will become unlocked as the game progresses; how do these become available?" Dan replied with this answer "When you fight certain gangs as you go along, you'll adapt your style. You won't have to beat them entirely to unlock those; we don't want them to be only for people that complete the game. We made it so that when you complete a certain amount of missions against a gang, you'll start to unlock those extra combat moves. You'll then be able to go to a plastic surgery shop and apply those to your character."
This is going to be an interesting part to Saints Row 2, I imagine that Japanese gang, The Ronin will have a kung-fu style of fighting, the Brotherhood biker gang may have a street fighter style. Depending on what type of fighting style you prefere you could decide to complete most of the Ronin missions if you wished to unlock their fighting style.
